Time Stranger DLC: packs 1–3, release dates and Season Pass contents
By Majinken! · Updated 2026-10-21
Time Stranger’s original Season Pass covers three Additional Digimon & Episode Packs. If you own Digital Deluxe or Digital Ultimate, check your included content before buying those packs again. The separately announced A Hero’s Eternal Legacy expansion is scheduled for 2027; do not mistake it for Episode Pack 3.
This is a product-content guide checked October 21, 2026, not a review of the episodes or a promise about future DLC entitlement. Steam dates and publisher announcement dates are shown separately; Nintendo versions arrived later.
When did DLC 1, DLC 2 and DLC 3 release?
| Pack | Name | Steam release / publisher availability announcement | Added evolution routes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Alternate Dimension | Steam: December 8, 2025; US announcement: December 9 | BlitzGreymon, CresGarurumon, Omnimon Zwart, Omnimon Alter-B and Omnimon Alter-S |
| 2 | GAKU-RAN | Steam: January 21, 2026; US announcement: January 22 | BanchoLillymon, BanchoStingmon, BanchoGolemon, BanchoMamemon and Omnimon: Merciful Mode |
| 3 | Anti-ParadoX | Steam: March 11, 2026; European announcement: March 12 | Omnimon, Jesmon, Magnamon, Gallantmon and UlforceVeedramon in their X-Antibody forms |

For Pack 3, the publisher’s Steam release notice specifies March 11 at 16:00 PDT / March 12 at 00:00 CET: the calendar day depends on time zone. Pack 1 also has a naming discrepancy: the current Steam list says Omnimon Zwart, while the US announcement says Omnimon Zwart Defeat. Read the current pack listing and in-game route name for the version you own.
Each pack adds an episode as well as evolution routes. These are unlocks to work towards, rather than a reason to assume a finished, fully trained team appears in your party. For the distinction between requirements and ownership, see our digivolution guide.
Which editions include the Season Pass?
| What you own | What to do |
|---|---|
| Standard / base game | Compare an individual pack against the Season Pass if you want additional episodes or a specific Digimon. |
| Digital Deluxe | Check the included Season Pass and install the relevant content before paying for it separately. |
| Digital Ultimate | Also includes the Season Pass; its further costumes, music and other extras are a separate reason to choose it. |
| Only an episode pack | You still need the base game for the matching platform. |
The official product selector lists Packs 1–3 and the Golden Moai farm item under the Season Pass. It does not turn every optional music or costume product into part of the pass.
Our recommendation: start with the name of the Digimon or episode you want. If it appears in one pack, compare that pack’s checkout total with the pass. If you already own Deluxe or Ultimate, verify the entitlement first. We do not publish an unverified current price or call any pack essential to finish the base game.
What is A Hero’s Eternal Legacy, and is it out?
As of this check, Bandai Namco has announced it for 2027 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and Switch 2. Its September 3, 2026 announcement describes a new adventure with more than 50 additional Digimon. That announcement gives a year, not an exact launch day.
The original pass’s named content is Packs 1–3. The expansion announcement alone does not establish that an existing pass or Ultimate purchase includes A Hero’s Eternal Legacy. Check the expansion’s own product terms when available before buying an older bundle for it.
What should Nintendo players check?
Match the DLC to the software version you actually own, then verify the content on that platform’s store. Do not use the original PC/PS5/Xbox announcement dates as Nintendo launch dates. Our Switch vs Switch 2 guide explains why changing consoles and changing software are different decisions.
